Warren Heath is a friend of mine. He's an automotive race engineer and used to work for the Subaru World Rally Team when they used to rule the roost in the WRC back in the '90s. Warren now owns and runs a boutique automotive engineering workshop. He asked me to bring life to the workshop through a brand that gave meaning, defined purpose and offered a visual evolution.

Hello. My name is Steve Price. I am an independent creative director — based in Birmingham, England, UK — with over three and a half decades of experience in design, advertising and marketing.
In work mode, my motivation is to reveal true purpose and clear direction for responsible organisations.
Helping them to discover their truth through effective brand strategies and compelling marketing campaigns.
Processing swathes of reference to spot common themes, cut to the chase and let that which does not matter simply fade away.
I am hands-on and often doing graphic design, art direction, copywriting, making, brand building and leadership.

It struck me recently how much perfectly serviceable work I’ve done over the years that has ended up on the ‘cutting room floor’. With the problem solved, what of those unused ideas that didn’t make the cut? I am going to release some of this work as ‘open source’. Do with as you wish. Take and use wholesale, adapt and repurpose, or use as inspiration. Free for non-profits, but there is a catch for profit-making endeavours.
