*CAMPAIGN* The BPA. Giving back.

I do a bit of voluntary work sitting on the leadership team of a Birmingham-based networking group called the BPA (or Birmingham Publicity Association to give it its full dusty old moniker). 

The point of the BPA is to try and bring the many facets of media, marketing and advertising locally closer together, through its calendar of events, while raising money for local good causes. It's been doing so since 1930-odd and is something I've grown very passionate about. The perception of these industries is often quite cynical and it feels good to be a part of something that gives back.

The arrangement throws up opportunities to be creative which I gleefully gobble up.
